The release of FIFA 20 is approaching! In late September, the new offshoot of the virtual football game by publisher EA Sports, in which we expect many new features and game modes. Once again, the FIFA 20 Ultimate Team has many new iconic maps of former football stars. A total of 15 new icons are added, six of which have already been revealed. We’ll tell you which players are involved and what overall ratings we’re forecasting.
Zinedine Zidane and Andrea Pirlo
The three-time world footballer Zinedine Zidane will be playable in FUT 20 as an icon. As one of the best players of all time, France and World and European champion and Real Madrid Champions League winner, he will probably get a superior iconic map missed. The 47-year-old successful coach of Real Madrid was an all-rounder who regularly wet his opponents. That’s why we expect Zidane to have an overall rating of 97. If our assumption proves true, “Zizou” immediately rises to one of the best icons in FIFA.
Another icon will be Andrea Pirlo. The 2006 world champion and two-time Champions League winner with AC Milan previously received nicknames such as “The Architect” and “The Professor”. With outstanding overview, ingenious passes and brilliant free kicks Pirlo enchanted, which also characterized an incredible calm in soccer world. He straps his shoes on the virtual lawn again. He lacks speed and physique, it can be assumed that his overall rating does not match that of Zidane. Our prognosis: 93.
Didier Drogba and Ian Wright
Fans of FC Chelsea London will be pleased: In FUT 20, once again, the “Blues” legend Didier Drogba can be scored for goal-scoring. The brawny striker with fine technique led Chelsea among other things to the Champions League title in 2012 and advanced to the English legend for club legend. He predicts an overall rating of 93 for him. However, because he is a complete striker with strong header, good pace and great technique, Drogba could welcome with a better rating. We are curious.
With Ian Wright receives another top clippers from the Premier League an icon card. The long-time striker of Arsenal FC scored 113 goals in 213 games in England’s top division. With the “Gunners” Wright 1994 won the European Cup Winners’ Cup (today: Europa League) and 1998 English champion. Anyone looking for an ice-cold top scorer in FUT 20 soon and having a bulging virtual wallet will definitely find it on Ian Wright. Our rating forecast: 93.
Carlos Alberto and Ronald Koeman
In addition to midfield wizards Zidane and Pirlo, as well as top scorers Drogba and Wright, two defender legends have been revealed as icons in FUT 20. One of them is Carlos Alberto. The Brazilian never kicked in Europe, but still made a name for himself worldwide. Although the samba kicker played in defense, his passion was tricking. The world champion of 1970, who was very successful in his home country with Santos FC, who won Recopa Sudamericana (1968) and four times Brazilian champions, duped his opponents regularly. We predict an overall rating of 94 for the top defender with dribbling skills.
Finally: Ronald Koeman, today’s national coach of the Netherlands. Koeman was Libero, but still scored many goals. In 1988, the European champion achieved an impressive 169 goals in 508 games. Both with PSV Eindhoven (1988) and with the FC Barcelona (1992) Koeman won the European Cup of Champions (today Champions League). A FUT rating of at least 95 would be appropriate for a superior defensive player with these offensive qualities.
